Academic mentoring that builds confidence and results.

I could honestly not recommend Sam enough. He helped my daughter understand complicated musical concepts by breaking them down into easy bits. This made her more able to figure out how to play her piano pieces. She really loved learning with him, and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn music theory.

Could not recommend Sam enough as a tutor! He managed to turn even the most daunting of my dissertation-related problems into easy, manageable tasks and worked incredibly hard to make sure I felt motivated and confident throughout our lessons. Despite picking a niche dissertation topic, Sam went above and beyond to ensure he had a firm grasp of the issues so that we could have a fruitful discussion. If you ever feel lost or stuck, Sam will be an absolute lifesaver.

Music and Theory Tuition

In my 11+, 13+, Common Entrance and GCSE tuition, I distil years of past paper analysis into bite-size tips and tricks. Knowing that 11+ tutoring can be boring for many children, I implement these techniques into fun games to keep children excited about learning, linking my teaching with the individual interests of each child.

I believe in equipping students with the tools they need to understand music without rote learning, while ensuring success at auditions and exams. I offer personalised and engaging lessons for students of all ages based in my expertise in musical pedagogy.
